F or the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart.

La parola di Dio infatti è vivente ed efficace, piú affilata di qualunque spada a due tagli e penetra fino alla divisione dell'anima e dello spirito, delle giunture e delle midolla, ed è in grado di giudicare i pensieri e le intenzioni del cuore.
