Deuteronomy 8:2 ~ Deuteronomy 8:2

Y ou shall remember all the way which the Lord your God has led you in the wilderness these forty years, that He might humble you, testing you, to know what was in your heart, whether you would keep His commandments or not.

and thou hast remembered all the way which Jehovah thy God hath caused thee to go these forty years in the wilderness, in order to humble thee to try thee, to know that which in thy heart, whether thou dost keep His commands or not.
