a nd they shall fine him a hundred shekels of silver and give it to the girl’s father, because he publicly defamed a virgin of Israel. And she shall remain his wife; he cannot divorce her all his days.

e poiché ha sparso una cattiva reputazione su una vergine d'Israele, gli imporranno un'ammenda di cento sicli d'argento, che daranno al padre della giovane; così essa rimarrà sua moglie ed egli non potrà mandarla via finché vive.
