T hen you shall gather all its booty into the middle of its open square and burn the city and all its booty with fire as a whole burnt offering to the Lord your God; and it shall be a ruin forever. It shall never be rebuilt.


Poi ammasserai tutto il suo bottino in mezzo alla piazza e brucerai col fuoco la città e l'intero suo bottino davanti all'Eterno, il vostro DIO; essa rimarrà un cumulo di rovine per sempre e non sarà mai piú ricostruita.
