F or our proud confidence is this: the testimony of our conscience, that in holiness and godly sincerity, not in fleshly wisdom but in the grace of God, we have conducted ourselves in the world, and especially toward you.

Lauda noastră este mărturia conştiinţei noastre, potrivit căreia noi ne-am comportat în lume, şi chiar mai mult faţă de voi, în curăţia şi sinceritatea care vin de la Dumnezeu, nu cu o înţelepciune firească, ci prin harul lui Dumnezeu.
