F or not knowing about God’s righteousness and seeking to establish their own, they did not subject themselves to the righteousness of God.

فَلِأنَّهُمْ لَمْ يَعرِفُوا البِرَّ الَّذِي مِنَ اللهِ، كانُوا يُحاوِلُونَ أنْ يَتَبَرَّرُوا بِطَرِيقَتِهِمُ الخاصَّةِ، فَلَمْ يَخضَعُوا لِطَرِيقَةِ اللهِ!
