W hen we had sailed slowly for a good many days, and with difficulty had arrived off Cnidus, since the wind did not permit us to go farther, we sailed under the shelter of Crete, off Salmone;

Timp de mai multe zile am navigat încet şi cu greutate. Am ajuns lângă Cnidus şi, pentru că vântul nu ne-a lăsat să mergem acolo, am navigat la adăpostul Cretei, trecând pe lângă Salmon.
