J esus then took the loaves, and having given thanks, He distributed to those who were seated; likewise also of the fish as much as they wanted.

Jesus took the loaves, and when He had given thanks, He distributed to the disciples and the disciples to the reclining people; so also with the fish, as much as they wanted.
