S o the Lord’s anger burned against Israel, and He made them wander in the wilderness forty years, until the entire generation of those who had done evil in the sight of the Lord was destroyed.

Assim se acendeu a ira do Senhor contra Israel, e ele os fez andar errantes no deserto quarenta anos, até que se consumiu toda aquela geração que fizera mal aos olhos do Senhor.
