S o Israel joined themselves to Baal of Peor, and the Lord was angry against Israel.

وَهَكَذا بَدَأ بَنُو إسْرائِيلَ يَعبُدُونَ الإلَهَ المُزَيَّفَ بَعلَ فَغُورَ، مِمّا أغْضَبَ اللهَ عَلَى إسْرائِيلَ.
