E very first issue of the womb of all flesh, whether man or animal, which they offer to the Lord, shall be yours; nevertheless the firstborn of man you shall surely redeem, and the firstborn of unclean animals you shall redeem.

Întâiul născut al oricărei făpturi pe care ei îl aduc Domnului, fie om sau animal, să fie al tău. Totuşi, atât pe întâiul născut al omului, cât şi pe întâiul născut al animalelor necurate va trebui să-l răscumperi.
