S o I pastured the flock doomed to slaughter, hence the afflicted of the flock. And I took for myself two staffs: the one I called Favor and the other I called Union; so I pastured the flock.

Am început să păstoresc oile care erau pentru tăiere, da, pe cele mai nenorocite oi din turmă. Am luat două toiege – pe unul l-am numit „Bunăvoinţă “, iar pe celălalt l-am numit „Unire“ – şi am păstorit turma.
