T hen Moses took them from their hands and offered them up in smoke on the altar with the burnt offering. They were an ordination offering for a soothing aroma; it was an offering by fire to the Lord.

ثُمَّ أخَذَهُ مُوسَى مِنْ عَلَى كُفُوفِهِمْ وَأحرَقَهُ عَلَى المَذبَحِ مَعَ الذَّبيحَةِ الصّاعِدَةِ. هَذِهِ هِيَ تَقدِمَةُ تَكْرِيسٍ لِلكَهَنَةِ، كَرائِحَةٍ يُسَرُّ بِها اللهُ.
