f racture for fracture, eye for eye, tooth for tooth; just as he has injured a man, so it shall be inflicted on him.

كَسرٌ بِكَسرٍ، وَعَينٌ بِعَينٍ، وَسِنٌّ بِسِنٍّ. مَنْ يُؤذِي يَنبَغِي أنْ يُؤذَى بِمِثلِ أذِيَّتِهِ.
