“ For as for the life of all flesh, its blood is identified with its life. Therefore I said to the sons of Israel, ‘You are not to eat the blood of any flesh, for the life of all flesh is its blood; whoever eats it shall be cut off.’

Porque el alma de toda carne, su vida, está en su sangre; por tanto he dicho a los hijos de Israel: No comeréis la sangre de ninguna carne, porque el alma (o la vida) de toda carne es su sangre; cualquiera que la comiere será cortado.
