L ikewise, the shaphan, for though it chews cud, it does not divide the hoof, it is unclean to you;

لا تَأكُلُوا الغَرِيرَ فَهُوَ يَجتَرُّ لَكِنْ لَيسَ لَهُ حافِرٌ مَشْقُوقٌ، فَهُوَ نَجِسٌ لَكُمْ.
