T he vine dries up And the fig tree fails; The pomegranate, the palm also, and the apple tree, All the trees of the field dry up. Indeed, rejoicing dries up From the sons of men.

Las vides están secas; perecieron las higueras y los granados, las palmeras y los manzanos; ¡secos están todos los árboles del campo! Por eso no hay para nadie motivo de alegría.
