I srael is a luxuriant vine; He produces fruit for himself. The more his fruit, The more altars he made; The richer his land, The better he made the sacred pillars.

Israele era una vigna rigogliosa, che dava frutto in abbondanza. Più abbondava il suo frutto, più moltiplicava gli altari; più bello era il suo paese, più belle faceva le sue statue.
