A s I live,’ declares the Lord God, ‘Surely in the country of the king who put him on the throne, whose oath he despised and whose covenant he broke, in Babylon he shall die.

Je suis vivant! dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel, c'est dans le pays du roi qui l'a fait régner, envers qui il a violé son serment et dont il a rompu l'alliance, c'est près de lui, au milieu de Babylone, qu'il mourra.
