T hen say to the people of the land, ‘Thus says the Lord God concerning the inhabitants of Jerusalem in the land of Israel, “They will eat their bread with anxiety and drink their water with horror, because their land will be stripped of its fullness on account of the violence of all who live in it.

Spune poporului din ţară:, Aşa vorbeşte Domnul, Dumnezeu, despre locuitorii Ierusalimului din ţara lui Israel:, Ei îşi vor mînca pînea cu nelinişte, şi îşi vor bea apa cu groază; căci ţara le va fi jăfuită de tot ce are, din pricina silniciei tuturor celor ce o locuiesc.
