A s for the form of their faces, each had the face of a man; all four had the face of a lion on the right and the face of a bull on the left, and all four had the face of an eagle.

Cît despre chipul feţelor lor era aşa: înainte, toate aveau o faţă de om; la dreapta lor, toate patru aveau cîte o faţă de leu, la stînga lor, toate patru aveau cîte o faţă de bou, iar înapoi, toate patru aveau cîte o faţă de vultur.
