O ur pursuers were swifter Than the eagles of the sky; They chased us on the mountains, They waited in ambush for us in the wilderness.

كانَ مُطارِدُونا أسرَعَ مِنْ كُلِّ نُسُورِ السَّماءِ. عَلَى التِّلالِ طارَدُونا بِضَراوَةٍ. وَنَصَبُوا لَنا فِي البَرِّيَّةِ كَمِيناً.
