Jeremiah 40:15 ~ 耶 利 米 書 40:15

T hen Johanan the son of Kareah spoke secretly to Gedaliah in Mizpah, saying, “ Let me go and kill Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, and not a man will know! Why should he take your life, so that all the Jews who are gathered to you would be scattered and the remnant of Judah would perish?”

加 利 亞 的 兒 子 約 哈 難 在 米 斯 巴 私 下 對 基 大 利 說 ： 求 你 容 我 去 殺 尼 探 雅 的 兒 子 以 實 瑪 利 ， 必 無 人 知 道 。 何 必 讓 他 要 你 的 命 ， 使 聚 集 到 你 這 裡 來 的 猶 大 人 都 分 散 ， 以 致 猶 大 剩 下 的 人 都 滅 亡 呢 ？
