A nd I saw that for all the adulteries of faithless Israel, I had sent her away and given her a writ of divorce, yet her treacherous sister Judah did not fear; but she went and was a harlot also.

Benché io avessi ripudiato l’infedele Israele a causa di tutti i suoi adultèri e le avessi dato la sua lettera di divorzio, ho visto che sua sorella, la perfida Giuda, non ha avuto alcun timore ed è andata a prostituirsi anche lei.
