T hus says the Lord, “ Cursed is the man who trusts in mankind And makes flesh his strength, And whose heart turns away from the Lord.

Thus says the Lord: Cursed is the strong man who trusts in and relies on frail man, making weak flesh his arm, and whose mind and heart turn aside from the Lord.
