T hus says the Lord, “ Heaven is My throne and the earth is My footstool. Where then is a house you could build for Me? And where is a place that I may rest?

So spricht der HERR: Der Himmel ist mein Stuhl und die Erde meine Fußbank; was ist's denn für ein Haus, daß ihr mir bauen wollt, oder welches ist die Stätte, da ich ruhen soll?
