T he stones were corresponding to the names of the sons of Israel; they were twelve, corresponding to their names, engraved with the engravings of a signet, each with its name for the twelve tribes.

Estas pedras, pois, eram doze, segundo os nomes dos filhos de Israel; eram semelhantes a gravuras de selo, cada uma com o nome de uma das doze tribos.
