M oses wrote down all the words of the Lord. Then he arose early in the morning, and built an altar at the foot of the mountain with twelve pillars for the twelve tribes of Israel.

Moisés, então, escreveu tudo o que o Senhor dissera. Na manhã seguinte Moisés levantou-se, construiu um altar ao pé do monte e ergueu doze colunas de pedra, representando as doze tribos de Israel.
