T hen they said to Moses, “Speak to us yourself and we will listen; but let not God speak to us, or we will die.”

وَقالُوا لِمُوسَى: «تَكَلَّمْ أنْتَ إلَينا فَنَسمَعُكَ. لَكِنْ قُلْ للهِ أنْ لا يَتَكَلَّمَ إلَينا لِئَلّا نَمُوتَ.»
