M iriam the prophetess, Aaron’s sister, took the timbrel in her hand, and all the women went out after her with timbrels and with dancing.

وَأمسَكَتْ مَريَمُ النَّبِيَّةُ، أُختُ هارُونَ، بِالدُّفِّ فِي يَدِها، وَخَرَجَتْ كُلُّ النِّساءِ خَلفَها بِالدُّفُوفِ وَالرَّقصِ.
