F or there our captors demanded of us songs, And our tormentors mirth, saying, “Sing us one of the songs of Zion.”

فَهُنالِكَ طَلَبَ آسِرُونا مِنّا أنْ نُنشِدَ القَصائِدَ، وَأنْ نُرَنِّمَ تَرانِيمَ تَسبِيحٍ بَهِيجَةً. قالُوا: «رَنِّمُوا تَرانِيمَ صِهْيَوْنَ.»
