B ut he disdained to lay hands on Mordecai alone, for they had told him who the people of Mordecai were; therefore Haman sought to destroy all the Jews, the people of Mordecai, who were throughout the whole kingdom of Ahasuerus.

Pero no contentándose con castigar solamente a Mardoqueo, y como ya le habían informado cuál era el pueblo de Mardoqueo, procuró Amán destruir a todos los judíos que había en el reino de Asuero, al pueblo de Mardoqueo.
