T he couriers went out impelled by the king’s command while the decree was issued at the citadel in Susa; and while the king and Haman sat down to drink, the city of Susa was in confusion.

驛 卒 奉 王 命 急 忙 起 行 ， 旨 意 也 傳 遍 書 珊 城 。 王 同 哈 曼 坐 下 飲 酒 ， 書 珊 城 的 民 卻 都 慌 亂 。
