N ow the young lady pleased him and found favor with him. So he quickly provided her with her cosmetics and food, gave her seven choice maids from the king’s palace and transferred her and her maids to the best place in the harem.

La fanciulla gli piacque e si guadagnò il suo favore; cosí egli si affrettò a darle gli unguenti per la purificazione e il suo vitto; inoltre le diede sette donzelle scelte nel palazzo del re e la spostò assieme alle sue donzelle nell'appartamento migliore nella casa delle donne.
