Nehemiah 8:9 ~ Nê-hê-mi-a 8:9

T hen Nehemiah, who was the governor, and Ezra the priest and scribe, and the Levites who taught the people said to all the people, “ This day is holy to the Lord your God; do not mourn or weep.” For all the people were weeping when they heard the words of the law.

Nê-hê-mi, quan tổng trấn, E-xơ-ra, thầy tế lễ và thầy thông giáo, cùng người Lê-vi mà dạy dỗ dân sự, bèn nói với cả Y-sơ-ra-ên rằng: Ngày nay là thánh cho Giê-hô-va Đức Chúa Trời của các ngươi; chớ để tang, cũng đừng khóc lóc. Vì cả dân sự đều khóc khi nghe đọc các luật pháp.
