S o now do not give your daughters to their sons nor take their daughters to your sons, and never seek their peace or their prosperity, that you may be strong and eat the good things of the land and leave it as an inheritance to your sons forever.’

Pero ustedes no dejarán que sus hijas se casen con los hijos de ellos, ni tampoco dejarán que los hijos de ustedes se casen con las hijas de ellos; ni procurarán que ellos vivan en paz y prosperen. Así ustedes serán fuertes y disfrutarán de las bondades de la tierra, y podrán dejársela a sus hijos como herencia.”
