B ut because our fathers had provoked the God of heaven to wrath, He gave them into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, the Chaldean, who destroyed this temple and deported the people to Babylon.

Dar pentru că strămoşii noştri L-au mâniat pe Dumnezeul cerurilor, El i-a dat pe mâna caldeeanului Nebucadneţar, împăratul Babilonului, care a distrus Casa aceasta şi a dus poporul în captivitate, în Babilon.
