T hey slaughtered the Passover animals, and while the priests sprinkled the blood received from their hand, the Levites skinned them.

فَذُبِحَتْ خِرافُ الفِصحِ. وَبَعدَ ذَلِكَ سَلَخَ الَّلاوِيُّونَ جُلُودَها وَأعطُوا دَمَها لِلكَهَنَةِ. فَرَشَّ الكَهَنَةُ الدَّمَ عَلَى المَذبَحِ.
