J osiah removed all the abominations from all the lands belonging to the sons of Israel, and made all who were present in Israel to serve the Lord their God. Throughout his lifetime they did not turn from following the Lord God of their fathers.

Kështu Josia zhduku tërë gjërat e neveritshme nga të gjitha vendet që u përkisnin bijve të Izraelit dhe i detyroi tërë ata që ishin në Izrael t’i shërbenin Zotit, Perëndisë të tyre. Gjatë gjithë jetës së tij ata nuk hoqën dorë së ndjekuri Zotin, Perëdinë e etërve të tyre.
