N ow after this he built the outer wall of the city of David on the west side of Gihon, in the valley, even to the entrance of the Fish Gate; and he encircled the Ophel with it and made it very high. Then he put army commanders in all the fortified cities of Judah.

Después de esto, Manasés edificó la muralla exterior de la ciudad de David al occidente de Gihón, en el valle, hasta la entrada de la Puerta del Pescado; y rodeó con ella el Ofel y la hizo muy alta. Entonces puso capitanes del ejército en todas las ciudades fortificadas de Judá.
