T hen he made two sculptured cherubim in the room of the holy of holies and overlaid them with gold.

وَصَنَعَ سُلَيْمانُ تِمْثالَينِ لِمَلاكَينِ كَرُوبَيْنَ فِي قُدسِ الأقداسِ، وَغَشّاهُما بِالذَّهَبِ.
