B ut the priests were too few, so that they were unable to skin all the burnt offerings; therefore their brothers the Levites helped them until the work was completed and until the other priests had consecrated themselves. For the Levites were more conscientious to consecrate themselves than the priests.

Pero los sacerdotes eran pocos, y no alcanzaban a desollar los holocaustos, así que sus parientes levitas los ayudaron hasta terminar la obra y hasta que los demás sacerdotes se santificaron. Y es que el corazón de los levitas fue más recto para santificarse que el de los sacerdotes.
