T he priests slaughtered them and purged the altar with their blood to atone for all Israel, for the king ordered the burnt offering and the sin offering for all Israel.

Preoţii i-au junghiat, şi au turnat sîngele la piciorul altarului, ca ispăşire pentru păcatele întregului Israel; căci pentru tot Israelul poruncise împăratul să se aducă arderea de tot şi jertfa de ispăşire.
