T hey abandoned the house of the Lord, the God of their fathers, and served the Asherim and the idols; so wrath came upon Judah and Jerusalem for this their guilt.

Então abandonaram o templo do Senhor, o Deus dos seus antepassados, e prestaram culto aos postes sagrados e aos ídolos. Por culpa deles, a ira de Deus veio sobre Judá e Jerusalém.
