W hen the Lord saw that they humbled themselves, the word of the Lord came to Shemaiah, saying, “ They have humbled themselves so I will not destroy them, but I will grant them some measure of deliverance, and My wrath shall not be poured out on Jerusalem by means of Shishak.

Quando l'Eterno vide che si erano umiliati, la parola dell'Eterno fu rivolta a Scemaiah, dicendo: «Poiché essi si sono umiliati, io non li distruggerò, ma concederò loro fra poco liberazione e la mia ira non si riverserà su Gerusalemme per mezzo di Scishak.
