T he sons of Judah were Er, Onan and Shelah; these three were born to him by Bath-shua the Canaanitess. And Er, Judah’s firstborn, was wicked in the sight of the Lord, so He put him to death.

Los hijos de Judá fueron Er, Onán, y Sela; estos tres le nacieron de Bet-súa la cananea. Y Er, primogénito de Judá, fue malo ante los ojos del Señor, quien le dio muerte.
