S o all the elders of Israel came to the king at Hebron, and David made a covenant with them in Hebron before the Lord; and they anointed David king over Israel, according to the word of the Lord through Samuel. Jerusalem, Capital City

جاءَ كُلُّ قادَةِ بَنِي إسْرائِيلَ إلَى المَلِكِ فِي حَبْرُونَ، وَقَطَعَ داوُدُ مَعَهُمْ عَهْداً فِي حَضرَةِ اللهِ. ثُمَّ مَسَحَ القادَةُ داوُدَ مَلِكاً عَلَى إسْرائِيلَ كَما قالَ اللهُ سابِقاً عَلَى فَمِ صَمُوئِيلَ. داوُدُ يَستَولِي عَلَى مَدِينَةِ القُدْس
