T hen he led away into exile all Jerusalem and all the captains and all the mighty men of valor, ten thousand captives, and all the craftsmen and the smiths. None remained except the poorest people of the land.

Deportò quindi tutta Gerusalemme, tutti i capi, tutti gli uomini valorosi, in numero di diecimila prigionieri, e tutti gli artigiani e i fabbri; non rimase che la gente piú povera del paese.
