2 Kings 23:2 ~ II Các Vua 23:2

T he king went up to the house of the Lord and all the men of Judah and all the inhabitants of Jerusalem with him, and the priests and the prophets and all the people, both small and great; and he read in their hearing all the words of the book of the covenant which was found in the house of the Lord.

Đoạn, vua đi lên đền thờ Đức Giê-hô-va, có hết thảy người Giu-đa, cả dân cư Giê-ru-sa-lem, những thầy tế lễ, đấng tiên tri, cùng cả dân sự, vô luận nhỏ lớn, đều đi theo người. Người đọc cho chúng nghe các lời của sách giao ước, mà người ta đã tìm được trong đền thờ của Đức Giê-hô-va.
