F or he rebuilt the high places which Hezekiah his father had destroyed; and he erected altars for Baal and made an Asherah, as Ahab king of Israel had done, and worshiped all the host of heaven and served them.

Porque tornou a edificar os altos que Ezequias, seu pai, tinha destruído, e levantou altares a Baal, e fez uma Asera como a que fizera Acabe, rei de Israel, e adorou a todo o exército do céu, e os serviu.
